SUPERB Acrylic on Canvas Ming Porcelain Chinese Artist JL Huang c1998 Singapore
This is an absolutely stunning work of art in the form of an acrylic on canvas depicting a collection of rare early imperial Chinese porcelain arranged on an antique carved wood altar table with a wonderful screen in the background.
It is by a Chinese artist Jin Liang Huang who was born in 1960 and became a permanent resident of Singapore in 1994.
The detail and colour is remarkable: just observe how the artist captures the light reflecting off the surface glaze!
The broken egg shell is a delightful flourish!
It was purchased in the late 1990’s from Timeless Art Gallery, Pan Pacific Hotel (Raffles Boulevard) in Singapore.
J L Huang first exhibited in 1979 at the Shenzhen Academy of Fine Arts and also Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (1995, 1996).
It is a lovely large size measuring around 38inches x 26inches and is in it’s original frame.
This would look simply stunning in the right setting and would complement any collection/display of Chinese porcelain!
