Scottish Pottery ( Dunmore ) slip glazed vase
Rare Scottish Pottery Dunmore slip glazed pot with looped handles. Imprest mark, (Dunmore)
Dunmore, on the estate of the Earl of Dunmore, Stirlingshire, from about 1876 to 1917 when the pottery closed and the buildings were sold. The pottery was famous for its slip glazes.
This little vase is decorated with a green and brown mottled treacle glaze.
