A superb Samuel Withers & Co. Ltd safe, presented in excellent antique condition and retaining its original painted finish. This handsome example shows the classic Withers character: a deep green‑black body gently softened by a century of honest wear, with the original painted border still visible on the door and its original brass handle intact.
The inside of the door carries the firm’s circular “Improved Bent Steel Safe” medallion — a hallmark of authenticity and a distinctive decorative feature of the period. Inside, the safe is clean and well‑preserved, showing only the light, expected wear of long service and no structural issues. The interior offers generous storage and retains its original painted surfaces.
