An early Victorian provincial rustic carved oak hall chair, with shaped solid carved oak back with foliate carving on the top and sides with a carved bird in the center, with elegant extended seat scrolls to the sides, the solid seat with a simple moulded fore-edge, the seat rail carved with foliate carving to the front, the front legs with carving on the top with tapering barley sugar finishing on an extended turned toe.
