Description
A superb Regency rosewood jardiniere circa 1830 with the makers stamp Miles and Edwards, Oxford Street, London. With a beautiful solid rosewood, tapering barley twist column on a triform base.
Miles and Edwards were furniture makers and upholsteres who began operating from their Oxford Street premises in London in 1822. Renowned for the quality of their furniture, their clients included the Empress of Russia and the British ambassador to Paris.
