This 9.5-inch long masterpiece showcases the expertise of early Roman craftsmen. Despite the ravages of time, it appears to still have some petrified shaft wood in the socket, it has undergone meticulous conservation measures, using museum-approved stabilising resin. It is now sound and in perfect shape for display, comes complete with stand.
