Beautifully painted harbour scene depicting ships from Dutch countries judging from the flags signed RIMA RRSM NF. Surrounded by a decorative gilt frame this will look great on any wall.
The artist’s name was Norman Henry French. He painted predominantly townscapes of Venice and Holland in the style of the Italian and Dutch masters of the 17th and 18th century.
