Description
Circa 1820. Regency mahogany sofa table by William Trotter, with a wonderful colour and patina. The rectangular top with rounded side flaps and beaded edges, above a single frieze drawer and single dummy drawer on both sides, over scrolled curved supports with carved flowerhead finials on a quadripartite base with hipped outswept fluted legs with original brass caps and castors.
Provenance. This unique table came from Donnington Castlehouse, Newbury, Berkshire.
