This is a rare PAIR of Channel Islands silver teaspoons made in Jersey by Charles William Quesnel who was active from 1790 onwards.
Channel Islands and Jersey silver are highly sought after and desirable.
There is one maker’s mark “CWQ” on each spoon and this is an exact match for Charles William Quesnel from Jersey.
Each spoon has an engraved initials of the original owner as shown and each one measures 14cm in length. Total weight 35g.

The Bonhams image show that Charles William Quesnel was active around 1800 as some dealers believe that he was only active from around 1820 onwards.
