Description

A rare Irish side chair – made from Cuban mahogany circa 1780. The back is decorated with carved birds, possibly parrots,  which have an almost comedic look to them.  The front rail is nicely shaped with the legs joined by an H-stretcher. The drop in seat is in excellent condition. A good, heavy solid chair.

Height – 38″  Height to seat – 17.5″  Width – 21″  Depth – 16″
