Rare French Childs Leather Surgical Spinal Corset

We have two medical items here, they both date from the mid-19th century, the full upper body corset is a child’s size, it is formed in leather with nickel plated braces. Similarly the waist and hip corset is also a small size perhaps for an older child, both pieces have ventilation holes in the leather and laces which are replacements, they are in fairly good condition for their age Curiosity or just general interest decorative pieces, these are extremely rare The corset is 18” high and about 12” wide, the hip corset is 8” high and 14” wide JC162.
