Rare Antique French Desk Clock – Combination Barometer & Mantel Clock Set C1870

Original enamel dial to barometer and clock
Enamel work on the back doors
Enamel work is continued on the carry handle
Wonderful clean dial slight spider to the clock dial
Convex bevelled glass protecting both dials
Original finely cut french spade steel hands
Black Roman numerals
Original finish to the case
Intricate shaped carry handle with enamel decoration
Club tooth tooth escapement
French 8-day timepiece movement
Fully serviced platform escapement
Working order, fully serviced by me at Vintage Clocks
Comes with winding key

This clock dates to around 1870
Measures 24cm high by 12cm wide and 6cm depth.

Fine French 8-day carriage clock with repeat feature striking a coiled Gond wonderful original decoration fully serviced my me at Vintage Clocks; it is in terrific condition and full working order.
