This is a rare survivor containing some amazing and entertaining original photographs of the above trip in 1959.
This amazing album contains a total of 52 photographs including several LARGE full page ones!
After the title page there is a full list of the scouters and scouts:

Then there is a brief explanation:
“Simply a collection of photographs taken at more or less interesting moments during the camp”
And oh boy are they interesting!
All the photographs are attached on the right hand side with wonderful, brief explanations mostly on the opposite page.
The photographs include the boys preparing for travel, setting up camp, preparing food and washing up after, messing about in a wheelbarrow, morning ablutions, morning inspection, receiving award for the “Most Honourable Order of Suckers”, a campfire, receiving local guests, building and floating a raft (it sunk!) and leaving camp.
This album is full of little gems such as one of the boys using two empty jars as binoculars and the wonderful image of the boys in the wheelbarrow.
This album would have been a one off as it is signed individually by each of those present at the camp – it must have been put together by one of the two scout leaders present.
The album measures 33cm x 29cm and is bound in red card covers (please note that the card covers are darker red than the image due to lighting conditions when I took the image).
The full page/large photographs measure 21cm x 16cm.
The photographs are in amazing condition as shown.
Some of the pages have some minor marks and blemishes and the outer covers have some wear and tear as expected.
Please note that just one photograph is missing but this does not detract from the overall desirability, rarity and collectability of this amazing album.
You still get 52 wonderful nostalgic images from a time long lost!
