A pair of Feltri armchairs designed by Gaetano Pesce for Cassina c1987.
Constructed from a dense wool felt that has a rigid durable lower section impregnated with thermosetting resin. The wrap around back is all one piece, the lower section is sturdy and rigid. The seat is fixed to the supporting frame with hemp strings, which also trim the soft upper edge of the chair. The seat and inner back section is upholstered using a generously sized quilted fabric. The chairs flexible back can be adjusted to bring the arms closer to the user for a more cosier feel.
Both chairs are in good condition.
