Here is a great Set of Avery Balance Scales together with Solid Bras Weights. These Weights range from 2lb to an half of an ounce. These would have been seen in Tobacconist Shops when loose Tobacco was sold in the Victorian days up to the 1940’s when I first saw one! This was for those who ‘Rolled their own’ and Pipe Tobacco. These are mounted on a Mahogany Base which measures 52cm in length and 26cm in width. The Large Pan has a diameter of 22cm and the smaller (the weight pan) 15cm diameter.
