Description
The 5 genuine Moonstones in this brooch are set in a decorative gilded base metal and would date from around 1900 – 1910 when moonstones were at the height of fashion. There are natural variations to the opacity of the stones and these are the REAL thing. Many jewellers call Laboradite or Opaline glass Moonstone when, although quite similar, are not Moonstone at all.

nThe brooch measures 6cm in length x 1.7cm wide. It has a strong and secure pin at the back.
