Description
A richly woven tapestry depicting a regal medieval interior, likely originating from a European castle collection. The scene centres on two figures in a grand, arched chamber: one seated in flowing robes, the other kneeling and presenting a crown upon a cushion. Light streams through the stained‑glass windows behind them, illuminating the carved panelling, patterned floor coverings, and the symbolic objects arranged throughout the room.
The composition is full of narrative detail — a moment of ceremony, loyalty, or coronation captured in textile form. The colours remain vibrant, and the workmanship is finely executed, with careful attention to architectural elements and costume.
A striking and evocative tapestry that brings the atmosphere of a medieval castle into any interior.
