Antique early 1900’s Malayer runner of unusual and very useful large size.
The runner has magnificent colours, from all vegetable dyes including rich reds, deep blues, soft green, mustard yellow flashes and rarely seen purple.
The intricate floral touches around the edge gives an elegant finish.
The runner is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile consisting of magnificently thick lustrous wool on cotton foundation, suitable for normal domestic use.
With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non slip underlayer, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
