- A lovely little percussion pocket pitsol by Mabson. Labron. & Mabson. Located at 25 Russell Street, Birmingham, Mabson & Labron were in business from 1807-1821 (see page 35 of English Gunmakers by Bailey and Nie). This pistol has a 2 1/2in. false-rifled turn-off barrel (frozen), engraved to the top ‘MABSON. LABRON. & MABSON.’, hammer safe, sprung bayonet, the triggerguard sliding to release the bayonet from its captive position. Half and Full cock positions working correctly. acanthus scroll and border engraving. Walnut slab-sided grip with vacant escutcheon.
