Circa 1880. Late Victorian Aesthetic Movement walnut Davenport. Surmounted by a shelved top tier that opens to a fitted stationery compartment. The writing surface with a tooled green leather, opening to a crossbanded and birdseye maple interior. Supported on turned and fluted legs and with a bank of three drawers with mahogany lining (a sign of quality), original brass handles and escutcheons on the side. All supported on short turned legs with original brass caps and castors
