Large French Gilt Rouge Marble Mantel Clock

Circa 1870. A large French gilt bronze-mounted rouge marble mantel clock, the dial is signed ‘H Kreitz’, the Arabic dial with decorative hands set within an elaborate brass bezel, the brass twin tray movement striking the hour and the half hour on a polished bell, the case surmounted with two handled, lidded urn mounted and resting on a stylish fluted marble column, raised on three cast lion feet.
