The rectangular stool with overstuffed seat (needs recovering) with beautifully carved seat rails with rococo scrolls and acanthus decorations. Supported on bold cabriole legs with foliate carved knees and scrolled toes, bearing stamp ‘Robert Strahan & Co. Cabinetmakers and upholsterers, Henry Street and Leinster Street, Dublin. Est 1776.’
