Unusual ebonized and gilded brass breakfront open bookcase, the top with canted corners, with brass inlay on the fore-edge, the frieze with a stylish brass inlay, the breakfront center with three adjustable shelves with brass facings, flanked by a pair of smaller sections, each of the sections separated by pilasters with brass inlay on the facing, the canted corners with gilded brass mounts on the top and base, all resting on an enclosed ebonized plinth which is inlaid in brass.
