Antique Kurdish runner dating back to the 1920’s.
A good Kurdish runner of longer than average size and a useful width. These runners are hard to find because they are hard to make – being handmade the long and narrow runner is hard to create straight and well.
Such a great furnishing runner, it has absolutely stunning colour from all vegetable dyes.
The runner is wool on cotton and is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and full pile, suitable for normal domestic use.
With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non slip underlayer, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
