This truly elegant piece dates back to the 1900’s, is wool on wool and in superb condition, with an interesting border of diagonal stripes.
The flashes of colour through out are truly exceptional, on this finely drawn antique rug handmade with all vegetable dyes.
It has slight even wear and full pile, is so soft and lustrous, suitable for normal domestic use and would bring elegance to any room.
With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non slip underlayer, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
