A stunning Shirvan runner dating back to the last quarter of the nineteenth century.
This wonderful runner is hand made with natural soft wool on a wool foundation. Featuring stunning intricate boteh against a regal blue field, framed with a cute floral on ivory border, next to 2 more frames of wonderful design and rich everlasting colour – derived from vegetable dyes.
This runner is of a useful large size, wider than usual making it a fantastic furnishing piece. Well made in the late 1800’s this amazing Kuba Shirvan runner is in fantastic condition and is suitable for normal or domestic use.
With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
