Description: This Apsara pilaster decorated the wall of khmer temple. Apsaras are beautiful female angels, and they were born from the churning of the ocean of milk. This Apsara wears a typical Angkor-Wat-style Sampot which decorated with flowers. The Apsara is standing under a multilobed arch decorated with a stylized flame motif. She is lavishly adorned with jewelry: earrings, armlets, bracelets, belt with pendants and anklets which are characteristic of the Angkor Wat.
Note: the sculpture comes with the export permit from the Fine Arts Department, Ministry of Culture.
