An absolutely stunning piece, this Joshugan rug was handmade in the 1920’s with natural wool on cotton foundation.
It features a very rare cream background, with such intricate detail, and a rich red border complimenting it well, made with all vegetable dyes.
An elegant rug in very good condition, suitable for normal domestic use.
With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
