Description
Superb Japanese Tansu elm wood chest in wonderful untouched condition. An arrangement of four full length drawers in the top section and two full length drawers in the base providing lots of storage space. All the drawers retain the original iron handles and run smooth. This two part chest has two sets of iron carry handles to the sides, the base set flip up to secure the top section. Over the many years of use it has gained a wonderful patina and a few knocks and scraps however these do nothing but enhance the character and charm of this striking set of drawers.
