Inlaid Art Nouveau Mahogany Display Cabinet SAI4201

A finely crafted Art Nouveau mahogany display cabinet in excellent antique condition, offered with its working key. The upper section features elegant curved supports and stylised floral inlays in contrasting satinwoods with brass highlights. One small panel bears a historic, well‑executed repair to an old crack.
The lower arrangement comprises two mirrored panels, a central drawer, and a further glazed cabinet with gracefully shaped doors. Mirror backs to both the upper and lower glazed sections enhance light and depth, beautifully enriching the display of ceramics, glass, or silver.
The combination of inlay, glazing, and flowing supports results in a highly decorative piece with strong Art Nouveau character. The mahogany has matured to a deep, mellow patina. Age‑related details — including foxing to the mirrors and the historic glass repair — are present, as expected, and contribute to the cabinet’s authenticity and charm.
