A wonderfully detailed watercolour of a continental harbour scene (probably in Holland) by the well-listed British artist Henry Valter.
Valter painted and exhibited widely for much of the second half of the nineteenth century and is well known for his maritime and Northern European harbour and city scenes.
Condition: Very good, with no sign of imperfections and bright vivid colours. The painting is well framed and ready to hang.
Size: 56 x 68 cm (framed), 32 x 44 cm (image).
