Description
Late Victorian gothic revival entrance hall chair c1880 made of oak, having a pierced dome top rail featuring two inlaid Minton ceramic tiles below, designed by John Moyr Smith depicting King Arthur and King Harold. The chair has a panel seat and is raised on turned fluted legs to the front and outswept back legs. In original condition where the finish has crackled with age. All joints are tight.
