Description
An unusual Georgian mahogany piano stool circa 1790. Features include a rare bowed design top, a drawer one end with a dummy drawer at the other end both with inlaid stringing and original brass swan neck handles. Standing on square fluted legs joined by an H stretcher. Seat is in excellent condition having been newly re-covered. Has been raised by 1″ but this does not detract at all from this rare, elegant stool which whilst designed as a piano stool would provide additional seating for any room.
