The top is an open bookcase with 9 fully adjustable mahogany shelves so can hold any size of book. The base has three panelled doors which open to a shelved interiors also fully adjustable and stand on a plinth base. Like all antique furniture there are some imperfections but nothing that detaches from the overall look of this solid bookcase. A very practical and attractive item of useful proportions offering storage for many books creating a small library in any room.
