Description

Circa 1800 with alterations. Georgian, Chippendale style-carved mahogany wine table. The base has a label from a Christie’s sale 22nd May 1995, “Property of Archibald Sterling of Keir”, and bearing a coat of arms. The circular top with a moulded rim on an exceptional, vasiform stem with acanthus carvings above a cabriole base with acanthus carved knees and low ball and claw feet.
