Circa 1850. George III style satinwood and marquetry inlaid serpentine front chest of drawers. The serpentine top with satinwood banding and a large central inlaid shell above two short and two long graduated drawers with crossbanding and foliate marquetry inlaid in exotic woods. The sides with simple inlay and all supported on original, elegant French bracket feet.
