George III Mahogany Bachelor’s Chest of Drawers

Circa 1810. A late George III mahogany bachelor’s chest of drawers, the top in finely figured mahogany with moulded fore-edge and pullout slide beneath with two brass knob handles, the four full-length graduating drawers with large rectangular brass escutcheons with canted corners, the brass handles with a winged Griffin with ‘Gillows’ style handles, all lined in oak, beneath the bottom drawer there is a simple moulding all resting on bracket feet.
