A George II and later walnut cabinet bookcase, the top with a stylish architectural pediment centered with elegant finial, two glazed arch doors with simple astragals, revealing a well fitted interior with adjustable shelves, pigeon holes, and inlaid drawers, the base with herringbone banding with a burr walnut flap, opening to reveal a well-fitted interior, the writing surface with baize, with cupboard in the center with secret drawer, with various pigeon holes, drawers and a polished surface, the flap retains original engraved cast brass escutcheon, with a combination of two short over two full length drawers each with similar escutcheons and cast brass engraved back plates with elegant swan neck handles, resting on bracket feet.
