This vintage French 18ct yellow gold cut out bombe ring is unbelievable! The diamonds on it twinkle beautifully. Bombe rings were originally seen in the early twentieth century but they became extremely popular in the 1950s onwards.
This example is just sensational with the gold cut out allowing for the diamonds to be suspended above the wearers finger like stars in the canvas of the sky. The diamonds are round cut and made up of six 18pt, two 10pt, two 20pt, two 30pt and one 33pt stones. So a total carat weight of over 2.5cts!
