You will receive the beautiful solid gold 9ct pin as shown in the image.
These images were taken in daylight without any additional lighting or editing.
We have provided multiple images to capture the amazing lustre of the gold which is wonderful and deep plus the lovely tiny pearls and turquoise stone.
The pin has a delightful scroll terminal in the shape of a flower, complete with two tiny pearls on the leaves and a turquoise stone in the centre of the flower head – it just looks superb: the pearls and turquoise look amazing against the gold.
In wonderful Art Nouveau style!
It was clearly made by a very experienced and skilled jeweller!
This wonderful antique pin is marked “C W S” and “9CT” as shown.

There is a crown just under the retailer’s name which shows that they had the Royal Warrant.
Henry Pidduck opened his first shop in Hanley in 1841, a town that later merged into the City of Stoke on Trent.
He became the Mayor of Hanley in 1864. Pidduck & Son designed the international trophy for sailing across the Atlantic Ocean – the Blue Riband!
The box is in amazing condition with the ‘Morocco’ leather exterior and the lovely blue velvet and silk interior.
Most boxes of this period have the retailer’s name printed in black on the silk – here it is in gold!
The pin looks almost brand new – as it has been well looked after and protected by the original fitted box.

The box itself has some very minor blemishes but is in overall amazing condition for its age.
The push button opens as it should and clicks closed nice and tight.
We have seen similar empty boxes from this retailer just on their own sell for £80 and above (images provided for illustration only).
This pin weighs 1.05g and it is 6cm in length.
