Circa 1890. Exceptional quality, neat-sized Georgian-style dwarf bookcase. The rectangular top in beautifully figured mahogany with fluted fore-edges above a neo-classical frieze with carved ribbons and bell flower chains. The two astragal glazed doors with foliate capitals opening to interior with two adjustable shelves. The doors flanked by simple columns with further bell flower chains, all over a simple base on tapering square feet with splayed toes. In perfect condition.
