The front panels are adorned with deep foliate and scrollwork carving, flanked by bold uprights topped with finely modelled figures, a striking example of Edwardian craftsmanship. The moulded top sits above three carved panels, all raised on robust turned supports that lead down to a planked pot board base, ideal for displaying baskets, pottery, or larger decorative pieces. The oak has developed a warm, mellow colour with a pleasing patina that only comes from age and long use.
