Description
A richly carved Chinese hardwood stand with a petal shaped pink‑veined marble inset top, framed by a beaded border. The apron is deeply worked with scrolling foliage and stylised motifs, while each corner is adorned with bold carved masks. The carved legs terminate into clawed feet and united by a shaped stretcher for added stability.
The hardwood has a warm, even colour and a pleasing polish, and the stand is sturdy and well‑balanced. A decorative and highly usable piece — ideal for displaying a vase, sculpture, or plant, and a striking accent in both traditional and eclectic interiors.
