A beautifully made Edwardian oak hall robe, full of character and finely worked detail. The tall door is arranged in six moulded panels, crowned by an elegant arched section carved with flowing floral and foliate motifs. The edges are framed with crisp geometric carving, adding rhythm and texture to the piece, while the original ornate metal latch brings a touch of decorative charm.
Inside, the robe offers practical early‑20th‑century storage: a hanging rail for coats or garments, and a mirrored compartment set into the door with a small shelf beneath — a thoughtful feature typical of the period.
