A good quality and very well made quarter sawn Arts & Crafts oak bookcase.
A wavy pediment above a sloped tile effect cornice, glazed double doors with original glass open to reveal three adjustable shelves, with the base having two drawers over a double cupboard with internal removable shelf. The panelled doors with carved decorative flowers to the front, panelled sides and stands on a plinth base.
In very good original condition, good grain detail, working lock and key, original brass handles and working catches, very little wear to the drawers. If any issue, there is an old filled shrinkage crack to the left hand side panel and some shrinkage to the back panels.
