Art Nouveau Philipp Haas Black Forest Very Stylish Blond Oak Wall Clock Circa 1900.
The original movement is fully cleaned and serviced, the movement is marked with the symbol of a hare which is made in The Black Forest by: Ph. Haas (Hare) and Sons in St. Georgen.
Haas & Soehne (Sons) Company was founded by Philipp Haas in 1867. Karl Haas secured a world wide market of the “HAAS antique clocks, especially high quality cuckoo antique clocks. In 1898 the sons took over, so the Haas enterprise was managed by the 4th generation. The company was dissolved in the year 1920.
Still with the original brass dial, pendulum and hands.
With wonderful brass ornaments.
All over in original condition with beautiful original patination.
Striking on a gong every 30 minutes.
