A striking, rare Stephen Green Saltglaze “Silenus” jug, depicting the drunken Greek God Silenus and cherubs in high relief; dating to around 1840.
Condition: One of the cherubs is missing a foot, a couple of nibbles on the base and some firing cracks to the interior but good overall and displays beautifully.
Size: 23 (high) x 23 (spout to handle) cm.
