An Egyptian Revival brass inkstand, the cover having a finial modelled as Baphomet / Mendes, above the body bearing masks each side and twin handles modelled as birds bearing hieroglyphs, the pen tray cast with scarab form handles with wings and hieroglyphs to the interior.
Condition: good overall condition for its age – wear commensurate with age and cleaning, lid of inkwell no longer hinged and inkwell may have had a glass liner.
Size: 30 by 11.5 by 14cm.
