Antique French Oak Commode Chest of Drawers, c 1740

Solid and original oak French chest of drawers, dating from the mid 18th century. Plank top with chamfered edge, over three graduated deep drawers over stile feet. Lovely colour and patination, with the signs of wear one expects of a piece this age. Handmade brass escutcheons and substantial drop handles.
