Antique English Pine Painted Grain Blanket Linen Box Trunk, circa 1840
Original paint finish on this superb example of a pine grain / linen trunk, dating from the mid 19th century. Good proportions, very sturdy and solid. The lot up plank top lid revealing a compartment interior, with original iron hinges. Clean and ready for use. Surmounted upon by tulip bun feet. Original mesh vent back plate. A lovely piece!
